Several Georgian companies worked on the airport construction project. The construction employed about 300 individuals.
Georgian artist Irakli Gogia offers the bas-relief pictures carved in massive wood and covered with natural wax. The wood processing technics applied by Irakli ,as well, as the manner of work has been a long tradition in Georgia. However, very few artists, if any, are engaged in this form of art at present. Each work reguires a lot of energy, phantasy and time of the author.
